Q: Is this library open to the public

A: Yes, but ... From the library website: The campus wireless network is restricted to Lafayette employees and students and their invited guests. Borrowing privileges are not generally available to community users, but an annual membership in the Friends of Skillman Library group at or above the $75 contribution level provides borrowing privileges for the duration of the membership term. Due to licensing restrictions, membership in the Friends does not include remote access privileges to the library's electronic resources, nor does membership include use of restricted computers or printing services. Note that membership in the Friends organization is tied to the college's fiscal year, which ends June 30, and borrowing privileges expire on June 30 regardless of when the contribution is made. I
