About North Community Library

Established in 1888, the La Crosse Public Library (LPL) serves the citizens of the entire Coulee Region, through consortial agreement, and is the resource library for the Winding Rivers Library System. La Crosse Public Library, with its flagship facility on Main Street, and two community libraries, provides a full range of library services and programs. Our Community Libraries, North and South, provide popular materials, expert reader's advisory, programs, and computer access. All locations have free wifi for limited hours.
