About Brock Environmental Center - Chesapeake Bay Foundation
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation's (CBF) Brock Environmental Center houses offices for CBF's outreach to the Hampton Roads area. The building is an innovative example of environmentally sensitive, sustainable, and smart building, among the first in the nation to embrace energy and water independence. The Center has achieved one of the toughest building standards in the world--a Living Building Challenge(tm) certification. Elevated 14 feet above sea level, it is also a prototype for coping with climate change in a region increasingly prone to flooding. Our location at Pleasure House Point on the Lynnhaven River makes this an inviting venue for your meetings and events.
