Q: What do i need to get a library card?

A: You can go online to www.carlsbadlibrary.org and apply for your temporary card, this allows you access to all the online materials and services, you can come in during our open times (Dove Library and Library Learning Center is Tuesday and Thursday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Georgina Cole Library is Monday and Wednesday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.) to convert it to a permanent one, or come in on those days to apply and get your library card. You will need a government issued ID and proof of address if different than the address listed on your ID.
