Featured Question
Q: Is it open to the public?
A: Public users can come into the library, walk around, and use books. However, Mookini Library is not in the same system as the Hawaii State Public Libraries. It is part of the University of Hawaii system, which is separate. In order to borrow books, you must either purchase a community borrower card or be student/faculty/staff in the UH system. Computer use and Wi-Fi access is limited to those who are part of the UH system because a hawaii.edu login is required to access it.
