Q: i don't know if this will make me sound dumb but do i need a library card to read a book INSIDE of the library? like can i pull a random piece of manga off the shelf and just read it without a card or do i need a library card for that type of stuff.
A: You may read books without a library card. You only need a card to check them out and take them home.
