Featured Question

Q: Can little kids get a library card too?... I have a 6-year old who's super excited about getting his own library card, like the one he has at school.

A: Yes, your 6 year old can get a card. Bring your ID and proof of guardianship. That can be birth certificate, medical records, or Social Security card for the child. I think their school ID works too, if he has one. The library should also ask if you want to restrict the content checked out on the card in case your little one picks up a random book or video that might not be child friendly.
