Q: jacaranda library should not allow people using cell phones in the library.yesterday one woman was shouting on her cell.she should be asked to leave the premises
A: Thank you for expressing your concerns Dan. While cell phone usage is allowed in the library, we ask that patrons speak softly, turn off their ring tones, and step outside for extended calls. If staff become aware of an issue, we will speak with the patron and ask them to take their call to a more private place, preferably outside. In the future, please don't hesitate to alert staff if you feel someone is being too loud on their cell phone. Thank you.
