Q: Why is a library closed on sundays...what if kids need it..peoole in night school..seems silly to me

A: I know this answer is a bit late but all government employees such as postal, librarian, and city offices are closed on Sundays because 1) Give employees time off as they are usually open 6 days a week. 2) It is expensive operating government buildings, by that I mean your tax dollars which is a finite amount that much be allocated and spent efficiently.
