About Enthea Teahouse
Enthea Teahouse has travelled directly to China for the last twelve years, building family style relationships with farmers and tea producers to source exclusively hand-made, small batch tea. We value whole spectrum trade from tea plant to tea pot, where the experience of brewing is enhanced by that intimate line of connection through quality and care. Enthea also has cultivated relationships with local tea ware artisians in the Pacifc Northwest to offer primarily hand-made, locally-curated PNW tea ware in their 120 year old Victorian brick and mortar in SE Portland, Or. In this way, we hope to continue building bridges between Gongfu tea culture in China and here in the PNW to deepen authentic community connection both here and abroad.
Featured Question
Q: What are the Covid safety practices like here?
A: Thanks for asking. Right now, during the "extreme risk" red zone that Multinomah Co is in for winter pandemic protocols, we are offering to-go and limited outdoor seating for menu based services. We ask all guests to have face protection while entering and exiting our establishment. Masks may be stowed while drinking tea or eating food ordered from our snack menu at our established tables. Social distancing is observed for all separate visiting guest groups. As the current 'extreme risk' protocols lessen we will still observe mask use and social distancing when indoor tea service resumes at that time. Hope this helps.
