About Deerfield Public Library

Deerfield Public Library is a library located in Deerfield, Illinois. The first library opened its doors in Deerfield, IL in 1927 with a donated collection of 700 books that fit into one classroom at the Deerfield Grammar School. Our mission is to provide our community with open access to the world of information and ideas, encouraging lifelong learning and personal growth in a welcoming environment.
