About Centennial Library
Established in 1957 as the Southeast Anoka County Library and funded by a Centennial School District levy, the Centennial Library merged with the Anoka County Library in 1959. It is now nestled in the community of Circle Pines, next to the City Hall building near the intersection of Lexington and Lake Drive. Housed in a classic red brick building with large windows overlooking the flower garden, it is adjacent to bike and walking trails, a park, playground, and a community garden. In June of 2019, the library reopened after a 10-month renovation project that greatly expanded the size of the library and added exciting new spaces for creativity and collaboration.
