The Merritt Bookstore is an independent book and toy store serving the Hudson Valley. We have a full selection of new books, toys, greeting cards, small gifts, stationery and more. If you know you want a specific title, we encourage you to check before you come and allow us time to order if need be, though we are sure you will find something wonderful already on our shelves! We host bookclubs, and author events in the shop and seasonally at the Millbrook Farmer's Market. We believe in the power and pleasure of reading, first and foremost.
