About The Kalamazoo Promise

The Kalamazoo Promise is a scholarship for each Kalamazoo Public School's resident graduate that provides up to 100% tuition for post-secondary education. The first of its kind, The Kalamazoo Promise began in Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2005 among a group of anonymous donors who recognized the hurdle that college tuition poses in determining the futures of young people.
