theeffect is a church with a vibrant recovery ministry that since 2007 has established a dedicated faith community and a hub in South Orange County, CA for those struggling through addiction and other compulsive behaviors. Believing that everyone is recovering from something, theeffect is a community of imperfect people working together to find physical and emotional recovery and spiritual transformation--theeffect of God's love--by unlearning limiting perceptions, beliefs, and compulsions, and engaging a first century Jesus in a non-religious and transforming way.
