About Building New Hope | New Hope Coffee

Building New Hope is a non-profit organization headquartered in Pittsburgh that cultivates sustainable livelihoods for Nicaraguans. Since '92, we have built hope through collective, inspired action. Currently, we are running three separate yet interconnected projects. The Coffee Project trades directly with Nicaraguan coffee bean farmers, distributing their sustainably harvested, organic, shade-grown, and bird-friendly coffee as "New Hope Coffee". The Education Project offers programming & scholarships to Nicaraguan youth. The Fair-Trade Project sparks conversations about fair-trade relationships' role in creating a more equitable & sustainable world.
