Q: Do you offer free food for the homeless?

A: That is a complicated question. Many of the people you see downtown that look to be homeless are not. The woman you brought into the restaurant yesterday is named Marie. She is not homeless at all. She comes downtown to take advantage of the students and tourist. She has a home, cell phone & car. She has in the past become belligerent at times threatening customers. She has been told by police not to enter any of the establishments downtown, but instead of causing a scene yesterday I just let it go. Another man named Jay, came into the restaurant and started grabbing plates and throwing them at people. Another man Roger used to sit outside the restaurant and cuss at customers including little children that would enter the restaurant. Obviously, I cannot encourage this type of behavior. There is one man Mr. Terry, who all the restaurants make sure we take care of. He is a sweet man who bothers no one. So to answer your question.....Depends.
