Thirty years ago, Doug and Tanya journeyed from San Francisco to create a unique coffee community in Atlanta, a city thirsty for specialty coffee roasting. Doug and Tanya's vision echoed their Bay area experience: Coffee roasted daily in an engaging neighborhood space with breezy oversized French windows, bikes and dogs out front, people drawn together from all walks of life, strangers chatting, reading books, friends laughing - all gathered around a delicious social sip.

Q: What kind of coffee beans do they use?
A: All of our coffee beans are roasted in house. We have been roasting all of our own beans for over 30 years at our Virginia-Highland Coffeehouse! On roasting days you can walk around the neighborhood and smell the coffee! We source our green beans from trusted farmers we've built great relationships with over the years. All of our beans are organic, and we have roasts ranging from Medium, Full City, to Dark. We also carry 6 signature blends!
