About The Steaming Cup

The Steaming Cup is a well-established coffee shop and cafe located in the historic Nickell building in downtown Waukesha. The building was saved from extinction by Steve and Christine VanderBloemen and partners in the 1990s and subsequently established as a coffee shop by Kerry and Terry Mackay in 2004. Purchased by Cristina and Jason Tofte in 2015, the cafe and coffee shop offer a warm, welcoming environment where attention to detail is paramount.

Featured Question

Q: What are the Covid safety practices like here?

A: The day that I went, it was pretty busy and felt crowded. However, I just got coffee to go - the counter has a nice plexiglass between the customer and employees and all were wearing masks, so that was nice.
