Q: How can we get Happy Goat dog friendly again...officially? It was the only place in Ottawa where I can bring my dog and stay. As a dog owner, I think Ottawa should look at Europe's dog friendly policies in businesses. Everyone wins.
A: I agree with Dina. Sorely missed and annoyed that one complaint spoils it for so many others. The HGCC was happy with its dogs permitted policy as were its customers. If you dont like a coffee shop that allows well behaved dogs or are allergic to them, then dont go there. Surely, Its that simple. The City should have a class of business permit that specifically allows dogs with a requirement to include clear signage at the front door stating that the establishment is "dog friendly". Lobby City hall!
