About Bourgeois Pig Cafe

Bourgeois Pig is an independent, family owned cafe in the heart of Lincoln Park, operated continuously by the same owner, Mason Green, since May of 1993! Situated within 2 adjoining, red brick, row houses built in the 1890's, The Pig is a very period and special place indeed: antiques, wood floors, tin ceilings, oriental rugs, crystal chandeliers, slate chalkboard menus & the kind of ambiance & service you just can't get from a chain store. Our menu is literary themed, with most of our sandwiches & salads named after novels & plays. Our food is fresh, generous, homemade & unique. Having started as a coffeehouse, we also serve a vast array of loose leaf teas steeped to order, as well as a myriad of traditional coffee & espresso based drinks!
