About Sihana Cafe

The name Sihana derives from an ancient language meaning "like the moon" in the literal sense and "celestial/heavenly or ideal state" in the metaphorical. Driven by our name, we set out to create an oasis where guests can enjoy healthy food first and foremost but also be inspired by the creativity that went into developing our concept. It harbors art from prominent local artists and its walls are a witness to more than a century of life of diverse communities in Newark. The aesthetic is a grandiose gesture to the preservation of the building whilst adding layer of colors, shapes, and different materials to the overall concept.
