Featured Question

Q: It's sad Starbucks on 1960 and timberforest in humble poor employees swamp with orders and only 2 on the floor. No one else to help. Sad to know and I loved going there. Where are the employees?

A: Places aren't able to keep staff when everyone is getting sick from the global pandemic still killing outrageous numbers of people a day. So people would rather try to collect unemployment and stay safely at home--it actually pays better than most food service or grocery store jobs, and it's sadly going to be a long time until all of the things that combined have made holding onto employees possible, actually implement the changes that are so very very necessary and make working a job that "can't" pay staff a living wage figure it out!School is back in, kids that can afford low hourly pay are all busy, now the adults that actually need to make a living wage in order to risk their own lives to serve someone coffee are available. No reason to work for a multibillion$ corp who has u work full time for them, devote your life, safety, all to their company--who won't pay your hospital bills when you get covid, or get evicted bc our min. wage is a sick joke! Maybe that's why? Just my 2 cents
