This local Colorado coffee shop is a 10.

If you're reading this, please bring back donut day!

I am sitting in my favorite coffee shop this morning. Sweet Bloom Coffee in Westminster.

These folk are SERIOUS about coffee.

I was chatting one barista this morning I hadn’t seen in about a month and she mentioned she was out of town in Texas. Sweet Bloom had 12 of their employees go down to Texas to meet with Third Wave Water to brew and taste coffee. How cool is that? How many other coffee shops are putting in that level of effort?

As a latte obsessed coder I can’t get over how consistently perfect the coffee is here.

It’s got enough plugs, good internet speeds (90 mbps), plenty of seating, and it shares have the building with a bakery that bakes fresh bread every day. What’s not to love?

It has outdoor seating too with a little patio. I never use that though because I tend to avoid the sun like I am a vampire unless I am climbing mountains.

The only complaint I have is that they used to make home made donuts in the back of the coffee shop in their scratch kitchen for “Donut Day” on the first Saturday of each month but they discontinued it. I am not sure why they stopped though. They were charging ~$4.50 per donut and selling packs of 4 donuts at a time with a line wrapping out the door in winter. Quite popular!

Anyways, if you’re reading this Sweet Bloom Coffee Co, I sincerely love your business. Keep roasting!
