Today, I got in my car and tested out the app in my local area.
I shared my location with the site and off I went. I was curious what the first coffee place would be that wasn’t a starbucks.
If you’ve ever heard of a “food desert”, I live in a “coffee desert”. Well, not really.. but 2/3 of the options are starbucks so I can complain all I want. (I still go there too sometimes!)
I ended up at Bittersweet Cafe & Confections - Cafe in Louisville, CO and it was really nice!
I didn’t realize how nice of a founder scene Louisville, Colorado has.
There were many laptop goers who were coding and talking about AI, families who were just in there to get some morning coffee with the kids before school, and some older folk getting their fix.
The latte was excellent, but the best part was the seating.
I was able to code outside today and the wifi worked outside flawlessly. That was quite the spot to enjoy the first half of my day.
9/10 only because Sweet Bloom still makes the best latte in the world and I can’t get over it. Also, my butt got wet a little because it’s been raining.
